Hello! I'm Sarah Aboona, your child's computer teacher at Saint Joan of Arc School. This marks my third year here, and I'm excited to start my 11th year of teaching in the 2024-2025 school year. This year, I'll be teaching technology to Kindergarten through 4th grade students. In addition to technology, I've also taught study skills and library.

Outside of school, my greatest joy is spending time with my family, particularly my three children. Anna is 13 and entering 8th grade, Jake is 12 and starting 7th grade, and Emme just began 4th grade. We stay active with activities such as cross country, gymnastics, soccer, and swimming throughout the year.

In addition to English, I am fluent in two other languages and come from a large family. I am passionate about organizing, color coding, cooking, cleaning, and treating myself to a well-deserved manicure.

Below you will find some of the many topics I cover in my classes. I like to use a variety of games for K-2nd graders to introduce basic computer concepts. 3rd-5th graders continue developing technology skills through typing, researching and creating presentations. Middle school students continue to build on skills that were introduced at the elementary level. 6th-8th graders also have a good grip on typing, internet etiquette, digital communication, Microsoft Office and so much more.
