All varsity basketball athletes & parents must sign attached Varsity Basketball Philosophy Agreement and return to coordinators on Mandatory Meeting evening. NO Signed agreement – NO TRYOUT!!
All athletes must attend ALL Basketball Placement sessions and basketball tryout sessions. The only exceptions are illness (doctor note may be required), Family Emergency Or school/parish related activity. Mr. Pomaville & our Basketball Coordinators are the only people who can be contacted for any of these three reasons ---NOT THE COACHES!!
All Religious Education Program (REP) students must attend ALL Monday REP sessions regardless of whether their basketball team practices or not on Monday’s!! ALL REP students will be excused and not be penalized in anyway for missing basketball practices on Monday’s when related to REP sessions. We make every attempt to avoid or set a practice schedule which can work around REP Monday sessions but there will be Monday practices in our SJA Basketball program & I cannot make any promises in regards to avoiding all REP/Practice conflicts but SJAAC requires our athletes to attend ALL REP sessions when conflicts arise!!

SJA ATHLETIC CLUB MAKES HISTORY!
The St. Joan of Arc Athletic Club made history this past weekend Sept. 14th-16th by bringing light towers for the First Night Time Soccer & Football games in SJA history!! The entire weekend was a great success and the athletes, families, coaches, staff & alumni all had a great time and enjoyed this spectacular event.
Thank you to Marchiori Catering, Jim Nelson (Special Edition T-shirts made on Site) & especially Jon Novak who brought 8 light towers into Charger Field at no cost to the SJA Athletic Club or Parish. All had a great time of fellowship, community & sport!! Thanks to the SJA Coaches & Board members for all your hard work & especially Msgr. Bugarin & our St. Joan Street/Overlake Street Neighbors and friends who had put up with loud crowds and PA announcements & bright lights for two nights. THANKS TO ALL!!!
